The Common Good Economy
So, we are every time deeper inmerse in Sustainable Economics and its relations and links with ICT.
Another interesting concept, that i would like you all to know about, is Common Good Economy. This term or discipline first appeared at Vienna in 2010 and has spread fastly and efficiently to many countries.
Common Goods are those that can not be associated to a individual person but are propierty of all of us. Goods like water, woods, landscapes...are usually understood like common goods. So imagine an economic model that stablishs goals in order to develop societies and communities and not triying to enrich some people in those. Can you imagine it?
This TEDxVienna lecture by Christian Felber explains in a easy and interesting way what Common Goods Economy is suposed to be.
In my opinion, ICT are crucial if we want to change our current paradigma towards this new, more concerned about equity, welfare and social justice model. ICT give us tools and opportunities to develop a different system.
