What is Circular Economy?

Some days ago we talked about what was sustainability and sustainable development. We discuss that it had three main areas where sustainability science focuses. I would like to talk about the second one: economy. 

So, maybe you are wondering if it is posible to achieve economic development while we care about responsibility, society and environment? Yes, it is.

And, what can ICT do for improving sustainability in economics?

One of the most important concepts on the field is Circular Economy. Its purpouse is to close cicle in producing/consuming processes. As you see, it has something to do with Life Cycle Assesment (actually, it has a lot to do with it). But before talking about this link and about how ICT can enable oportunities for a new economic paradigm I would like you to understand what Circular Economy is.
